Build a Kanban Board With AI, Live: No Hand-Coding Required - AgileLnL - Mark Shead

Tuesday, October 20, 2026 · 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM America/Chicago

125 people attending

In this session I'm going to build a working personal Kanban board from scratch with AI, live, without writing any of the code by hand. When AI writes the code, most of the work is deciding what the tool should do, which makes it a great way to think through how Kanban actually works. As we pick the features we'll talk about why WIP limits, flagging blocked work, and cumulative flow diagrams help get work done. I'll have the AI write tests first so knows if the software works, and we'll see where it does well, where it goes off the rails, and how to steer it back. You'll be able to repeat the same process at home on your own computer with free AI accounts to build a useful tool for yourself.
