Coding With AI, Warts and All: Building a Retro Tool Live - AgileLnL - Mark Shead

In this session we are going to code an application from scratch. This isn't going to be a flashy, rehearsed demonstration. Instead, we are going to do a "warts and all" look at using AI, including some best-practice approaches and ways to avoid tripping yourself up. A few weeks ago someone asked in the chat, given everything that can go wrong, whether AI is really saving me time. I think the best way to find out is to watch where the time goes. We'll start with nothing, not even a DNS entry, and build a retrospective tool with dot-voting. Once it works, we'll use it together, and we'll finish with a real retrospective on the session itself. Along the way we'll see what the AI gets wrong the first time, what has to be caught, and what a tool the whole room can use actually costs in minutes.
